Torrevieja Carnival
Each year, dozens of comparsas (carnival groups) parade through the heart of Torrevieja, a mobilisation of more than 2000 people parading, dancing, and above all, living the Carnival, our town's party par excellence. It is they who bring passion, colour, rhythm, and life to the streets of the city of salt. Thanks to these people, Torrevieja vibrates with a UNIQUE, SPECIAL, and MAGICAL Carnival, different from all those around us, making it a benchmark for this celebration every year.
All of this led to the «Carnaval de Torrevieja» being declared of Provincial Tourist Interest in 2012, and in 2021, the Generalitat Valenciana declared it a Festival of Autonomous Tourist Interest within the Valencian Community.
From the Cultural Association of the Torrevieja Carnival, we want to share our love for our Carnival with everyone through this website; making it accessible, immediate, and current.

The Torrevieja International Auditorium once again served as the main venue for creativity and music with the staging of the “Ciudad de Torrevieja” National Comparsas and Chirigotas Competition, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the 2026 Carnival
LAST NIGHT, TORREVIEJA WAS ABUZZ WITH THE NIGHT-TIME CARNIVAL
The Torrevieja Carnival proved, once again, that when the city decides to celebrate, it does so without restraint. The so-called “craziest night” turned into a veritable explosion of creativity, music and fantasy that wound its way along Calle Ramón Gallud until it reached a Plaza de la Constitución that was completely swept up in the festivities.
