The traditional Summer Parade will not be included in this year’s festival programme due to the high temperatures and the fact that it clashes with other events attracting large crowds

The Torrevieja Carnival continues to expand its reach beyond our borders thanks to the participation of its carnival troupes in some of the most important events on the national scene.

The Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association has officially concluded the election process for the renewal of its Board of Directors for the 2026–2030 term, with the slate headed by Francisco Pizana Cutillas being declared the winner, as it was the only slate to stand.

The Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association has officially launched the election process to renew its Board of Directors for the 2026–2030 term. The deadline for submitting nominations is 1 June and, if necessary, the elections will be held on 10 June 2026.

The Torrevieja Carnival 2027 already has its representatives after the selection process concluded. Irene Carazo Pinilla has been chosen as the Children's Queen after a tie-breaker, while Andrea Hernández González and Ares Franco Clemente will be Queen and King respectively, as they were the sole candidates.

The Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association has closed the registration period for the selection of the Queen, Junior Queen and King of the 2027 Carnival. With only one candidate in each of the Queen and King categories, the winners have been decided pending the official proclamation ceremonies, whilst the Junior Queen category has two contenders, whose winner will be chosen by the jury in the coming days.

The Torrevieja Carnival organising committee has approved a series of exceptional measures for the 2027 Adult Queen Election, following the lack of candidates. These include, on an exceptional basis, allowing the participation of candidates who were not selected in previous years, and extending the registration deadline to 11 April.
